Our family lived beside Mrs. Ludwig for about 20 years, and when she moved I missed having her wonderful smile and cheery "Hello"s every day.  Our dog at the time used to run into her yard and chase the squirrels away from the bird feeder (which Mrs. Ludwig delightfully allowed).  And when I moved back home to my parents house after 7 years with my 4 month old son she would come over to the patio and sit with us and hold him.  She really was the best Next Door Neighbour anyone could ask for growing up.  She will be missed.
