Bom-Wrapper

More than just neighbours

My father, who was the best judge of character I have ever met, loved Jack Reis. It may have been Jack's humor and seemingly boundless energy which he applied to life or just the simple fact that he reminded my father of his own younger brother. I'm not sure why but they admired each other almost as soon as they moved in next door. In our home this was felt moreso than stated. I have an immediate image that comes to mind thinking of Jack. He was always smiling at me with a bit of a lopsided raise of his eyebrow. That memory makes me smile.

My condolences and sympathy are extended to Ev and the entire family.
