It has been my pleasure to call (BIG) Steve my co worker and friend. Steve was an incredible man who was a very dedicated member of Gaffney Electrical Solutions in Mitchell. We had many conversations about projects we were working on together. You could always count on Steve to provide the highest quality of workmanship. He took pride in his work and was a perfectionist, never leaving a job until it was just right. Steve was always the first to volunteer when we needed work done on weekends or at night. With his many skills he always had a solution to the problem. He loved his job. But what he loved more was his family. To hear him speak about Sharon and the boys, it was not hard to tell. One of his last projects at home was fixing a roof and you could not have wiped the smile off his face when he was telling me how all 4 boys were up there with him. He loved to teach the boys new things and see them try their hand at it. Family was everything to Steve and he worked hard to provide for them. I extend my heart felt condolences and sympathies to Sharon and family during this very difficult time. Unfortunately it is a path I have walked as well. Hold your family tight, accept the support of your community and don't be afraid to ask for help. Steve has touched so many of us in different ways. He has left us with many great memories to remember him by. It has been my pleasure to know Steve and to call him my friend.
