At South Muskoka Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, August 6, 2008, Mrs. Marjorie (Forsyth) Smith, formerly of Listowel, in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Harold Smith. Dear mother of Nancy and Barry Davis of R.R.3, Bracebridge, and mother-in-law of Marie Smith of New Hamburg. Grandmother of Lisa, Michael, Greg, Chris, and Karen. Also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by her son Bill, her brothers William and Stewart Forsyth, and her sisters Dorothy Mellor, Rita Scroggie, Mary Forsyth, and Beatrice Newell.
Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Monday, August 11th from 10:00 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m.
Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
