Don Verner ~ At Listowel Memorial Hospital on Monday, June 8, 2020, Henry Donald Verner of R.R. 3, Listowel, in his 81st year.

Husband of the late Barbara (Henderson) Verner (2002).

Father of John Verner, Henry and Janet Verner, and William Verner, all of Listowel, and Elizabeth Verner and Jeff Hutchison of Ethel.

Grandfather of Michael and Donald Jr.

Remembered by his many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Predeceased by his sisters Ruth Craig and Jean Verner.

Don was a dairy farmer for all his life. He was a proud member of the Loyal Orange Lodge #667 Britton and the Grand Black Chapter of Ontario West.

A private family funeral service will be held at Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel, on Friday, June 12th at 1:00 p.m. The funeral will be live-streamed. Click here to view Pastor Kirby Hewlett officiating.

Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.

Memorial donations to Listowel Memorial Hospital would be appreciated.

So sorry to hear about Don. He was very good to our parents Wally and Evelyn. He would drop in often after you moved away from Bolton and we never knew when a horse would arrive with him. He thought every farm should have a good horse. We enjoyed good conversation and lots of laughs. He will be missed.

Our sincerest sympathy to the family.
Don was in our home two weeks ago. He surely will be missed. He attended the Ontario Cream Producer Association meetings where we leared to know him. Christian, Violet and Rudy Ropp of Brunner.

Don was a pretty unique person, who was a classic old-school farmer. A solid citizen, and a good man.

Don was a very interesting person to do business with and had a unique sense of humour..he was the kind of person who was straight forward with his the family of Don,s our sincere sympathy Del and Bonnie Cressman
