Many good moments over the years to celebrate in saying farewell to your Mom. One thing for me - she was one of the first public school teachers I could call by her first name! It helps that I never had her as a teacher, for sure, having come in to town just in time for her Aunt's grade 7 class. We were also neighbours in the Davidson/McKenzie block, and I was pleased to see her latest neighbours also honouring her memory on Saturday. She will remain one of my favourites.
