We all have wonderful memories of Uncle Jerry. Many of our family get togethers are remembered with stories of him - like him making "love potion" for his neices at Christmas to help them find boyfriends, and giving his sisters "cucumber wine" made/grown in his own garden. He always had a "special hat" for his red-haired neice. Jerry liked to get our Grandma Potts going - by changing all the Christmas tags on the many, many presents at Gowanstown hall. Many years ago I remember my mom- Jeannie - telling a story about going to Christmas at Grandma Potts' house with four small children - Peter was only a couple of weeks old. Her hands were full and Jerry was at the door to help her out. Mom asked Jerry to take Peter's clothes off. She was busy getting coats off the rest of us and turned around to have Jerry hand her a naked baby boy - so typical of him. We will miss him very much, but he has left us with stories and smiles to last a life time. Rest in peace Uncle Jerry.
