Norrie was always willing and able to do stuff for the kids. Back in 2005 or 2006 we were trying to raise a few dollars to build a park in our neighbourhood and along came the saint, Norrie Donaldson.  Norm decided to donate a pile of trees and plants that he managed to get on a deal at a closing White Rose store...we were all delighted...then he encouraged us to host a few events as we were gonna to need them to raise some funds for the park construction.  First he managed to host a large BBQ and while he BBQed we held a few games and things for the children....then he talked us into having a second event during xmas and arranged for a guy to bring horses and a buggy to give the kids rides around the subdivision and then he decided to show up as Santa in his lovely suit.  I couldn't think of anyone better to serve that role, kind, and jolly and of course he had the perfect belly... Those were only a few things that Norm did for our family, there are many others, he was a great guy and we will miss him.  RIP Norm. Go Wings Go!!!
