Beloved husband of Beverly (Beilstein) Vollmer. Dear father of Brian and Lynda Vollmer, and Donna and Angie (Mike) Costa, all of London, Bill and Debra Vollmer of Kitchener, Charin and Greg Rivet of Guelph, and the late Mike Vollmer.

Grandfather of Jasmine Vollmer of Ottawa, Ryan and Joanne Vollmer, and Adam and Brittany Vollmer, all of Listowel, Dr. Joe Costa and his fiancée Dr. Denise Mackey of Vancouver, B.C., Lina and Kevin Moore of London, Michael Costa of Australia, Allyson Vollmer of Halifax, N.S., Kevin Vollmer of Kitchener, and Kelsey, Brett, and Sam Rivet, all of Guelph. Great-grandfather of Wyatt, Drake, Sophia, Meyha, Trevin, and Ethan.

Brother of Rita Graff of Millbank, Helen Dobson of Ethel, Jean and Gord Stemmler of Kitchener, Edna and Fred Wick of St. Marys, Betty and Frank Gibbons of London, and Edgar Vollmer of Waterloo, and brother-in-law of Beatrice Vollmer of R.R. 3, Listowel.

Predeceased by his brothers Elgin, Carl, and Sheldon, brothers-in-law George Graff, and Bill Dobson, and by his sister-in-law Leona Vollmer.

Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. with parish prayers at 1:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Listowel, on Saturday, February 5th at 11:00 a.m. followed by a reception at the Listowel Agricultural Hall.

Spring interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
